I really enjoyed it and I have already recommended it to my friends!

Leslie was so patient and kind when teaching us. My cheeks hurt from laughing. I'm hooked. Even the other player who I thought would never play again because she was grumpy about the rules-is now hooked as well! Thank you to the Tile Divas!!

The Tile Divas lessons were well-organized, patient, and easy to follow. The combination of structured instruction, practice resources, and follow-up support gave me the confidence to keep playing. If you're serious about learning American Mahjong, the Divas are the perfect place to start!

My Mahjongg journey started after watching Crazy Rich Asians and thinking, "I need to learn that game!" A chance visit to a local brewery offering Mahjongg nights was all it took - I learned to play, quickly became hooked, and discovered how mch I loved the challenge and friendships that come with the game.
As a Tile Divas instructor, I love making American Mahjongg approachable and fun, especially for beginners who may feel a little overwhelmed by the tiles, rules, and the infamous card. My teaching style is relaxed, encouraging, and filled with plenty of laughs.
For me, Mahjongg is about more than winning a hand - It's about bringing people together, making new friends, and creating a reason to gather around the table.

I grew up playing all kinds of games, from Euchre and Oh Hell to Hearts. My favorite childhood memories were made around the card table, listening to stories from my mom, my grandma, and my aunts. The laughter and memories make me smile ever time I think about those games.
That same feeling is exactly what drew me to Mahjohngg. I absolutely love the strategy and rules of Mahjongg but the most unexpected part was the friendships and connections I have made.
My advice to beginners is to keep things in perspective: with each game, you have a 20% chance of winning. You are there to share in the joy of the game, laugh with others, keep your brain active, and have fun. The fun is the best part!
When I'm not at the Mahjong table, I can be found on the pickleball court or spending time with my high school sweetheart, Jason, and our three wonderful children.

I'm a mom of three and wife to my wonderful Mahjongg playing husband, Jeremy. I'm a technology program manager by day and Mahjongg instructor/player in the evenings. My dear friend, Cheryl, taught me how to play Rummikub. After I was hooked she said, "I think you would really enjoy Mahjongg!" The rest is history!
I love Mahjongg not only because it exercises my mind, but also for the amazing community I am now a part of. When I'm enjoying this game with friends the stress of my day disappears. This is more than a game. It's become an amazing lifestyle.
My best Mahjongg tip is to remember that in the beginning you are playing to learn, not playing to win. Have fun and practice. Winning will come!
